An update from the Jason McEwan on the condition of the Tenquille Trail:

“Just wanted to let you know I was up the Branch 12 road (off the Hurley) to the Tenquille trail yesterday and cut out a bunch of brush on the road…Unfortunately the branch 12 trail is in bad shape – the first km or so is totally buried in windfalls two and three thick. Some people have dragged bikes through but it could be a struggle. Word has it that once you get through to wolverine creek the downhill section on the front of the hill (main trail, through the burn) is in great shape.”

Thanks for all the hard work, Jason – hopefully this will inspire some other chainsaw-wielding bikers to start chipping away at the trail.
